Problem

Companies that offer age-restricted products, content, and services need to know if their users are of the required age, but current solutions normally generate a lot of friction, rely excessively on documents, or expose unnecessary personal data. At the same time, governments and regulators are increasing requirements for effective age measurement mechanisms. IDADeID resolves this conflict between compliance, privacy, and user experience.

Solution

IDadeID works as an Age & Identity Assurance infrastructure layer integrated with company systems. The platform combines facial age verification, liveness, and risk analysis and uses documentary verification only when necessary. The client company receives only the necessary decision to grant or deny a certain action, reducing the exposure of personal data and friction for the user.

Business model

B2B SaaS model consisting of a subscription per integrated site and variable billing for the volume of checks. Fallback documentary checks are charged separately when used. The ticket varies according to volume, level of risk, and need for integration, with standardized plans for SMB and customized contracts for higher-volume clients.

Market

IDadeID operates in the global digital identity and identity verification market. According to MarketsandMarkets, the Identity Verification market alone is expected to grow from US$ 14,34 billions in 2025 towards US$ 29,32 billions in 2030. Age Assurance is an emerging segment of this market, driven by new child protection regulations, restricted content, gaming, social media, e-commerce, and digital services.

Competitors

Globally, Yoti, VerifyMy, and K-id operate directly or in nearby age assurance areas. Companies like Incode, Veriff, Persona, Sumsub, and Unico compete in the wider digital identity and identity verification market.

Competitive differentiation

IDadeID was designed specifically for age assurance and not as an adaptation of a traditional KYC platform. This allows you to check only the necessary attribute — such as”18+” — without requiring every user to provide a full ID or document. The architecture combines low friction, privacy by design, multiple levels of verification, and direct integration into the company's digital journey.

Entry barrier

The barrier lies in the layered infrastructure: age policy engine, orchestration of different methods and vendors, anti-fraud and anti-replay mechanisms, verifiable sessions, audit trails, server-side integration, and adapters for digital platforms and e-commerce. As the network grows, we accumulate operational knowledge about risk, integration, and compliance without relying on the retention of user biometric data.

Traction

We are in the pre-recipe stage, with the product and the main infrastructure under advanced development and preparing the first controlled pilots. We have already started conversations with relevant companies and suppliers from the identity and documentation ecosystem and have structured priority integrations for e-commerce platforms. Our current traction is mainly technological, regulatory, and market validation; we have not yet declared recurring revenue or commercial volume from checks.
