Problem

Retail investors are too big to ignore and too small for the traditional human model. In Brazil, we estimate about 15 millions of investors without personalized support, especially clients under the age of R$150 a thousand invested. For banks, brokerage firms, and advisors, servicing this base individually with human advisors has a high cost compared to revenue potential. The result is underserved customers, lower engagement, monetization, and retention, while investors face an excess of information and generic recommendations to make their decisions.

Solution

Dalio is a layer of AI agents integrated with the financial institution and delivered to the customer primarily via WhatsApp. The platform receives text, audio, images, PDFs and statements, understands the profile, objectives, portfolio, and history, and transforms this context into onboarding, diagnosis, alerts, recommendations, reports, re-engagement, and business opportunities. The partner maintains its brand, defines operating rules, and can refer cases to the human advisor. Thus, we personalize the relationship 1:1 with a marginal cost of software, without trying to replace the advisor dedicated to the most wealthy clients.

Business model

The model is B2B2C SaaS: the financial institution pays for use and makes Dalio available to its customers under its own brand. Today, the base model considers R$12 per active user/month. The current cost of AI, infrastructure, and WhatsApp is around R$7 per user/month, generating an initial gross margin close to 42%, with the potential for expansion via scale, model routing, caching, and automation. The contract ticket grows with the active base: 1. 000 users represent R$12 thousand of MRR; 10. 000 users, R$120 thousand of MRR.

Market

In Brazil, we estimate a TAM of approximately R$2,79 billions a year, considering the 19,4 millions of investors and our pricing of R$12 per active user/month. Our SAM is about R$2,16 billions per year, corresponding to approximately 15 millions of investors who today do not receive personalized support. For the next 24 months, our SOUND is R$1,44 million ARR, equivalent to 10 thousand active users distributed in 6 B2B partners. From Brazil, our vision is to expand this infrastructure to other Latin American markets.

Competitors

The contestants are divided into three groups. In wealth management with AI, the Decade is today the closest reference in Brazil, combining AI and advisors to analyze portfolios. Warren and robo-advisors compete for management and digital guidance; Kinvo and financial apps compete in portfolio diagnosis and monitoring. We also consider generalist IAs and solutions built internally by banks to be indirect competitors. Dalio positions itself differently: white-label, WhatsApp-native B2B2C infrastructure focused on allowing the institution itself to scale relationships and guidance to its base.

Competitive differentiation

Most current solutions are B2C, work on their own app, or solve just one stage of the journey. Dalio was designed as a B2B2C infrastructure: it operates white-label within the relationship between the financial institution and its client, using WhatsApp as the main interface. We combine persistent financial context, specialized multi-agent architecture, multimodality, proactive monitoring, handoff for humans, and auditable track. The objective is not to replace the premium advisor, but to give the institution the capacity to serve and monetize the smallest ticket base with personalization that the human model is unable to offer at scale.

Entry barrier

Our defensibility builds up in three layers. First, composite owner data: each interaction improves recommendations and offer timing, creating a track record that a new competitor doesn't have. Second, partner exchange cost: Dalio becomes the brand's relationship channel, accumulating history, onboarding rules, and content trained in the institution's tone of voice. Third, regulatory workflow and auditability: the architecture is prepared for suitability, compliance, partner oversight, and auditable track, creating an additional barrier to generic AI solutions.

Traction

Yes. We have already exhibited more than 500 users to the Dalio experience and we followed more than 80 B2B pilot portfolios. On the tested base, we observed ~30% of initial interaction and ~10% of opening an account. Today we have 3 B2B partners in operation and more 5 opportunities in the pipeline. In the pilots, we also observed signs of economic impact in front of the control base in the same period: +12% in new accounts, +5% in revenue per customer, +16% in ROA and +18% in Um. The priority now is to transform these results into recurring contracts and expand the active base by partner.
