Problem

Hospitals live with idle surgical capacity while accumulating demand. Delays, avoidable cancellations, and lack of coordination between schedule, teams, materials, and beds generate rework, costs, and loss of revenue. Information is dispersed between systems, spreadsheets and messages, making it difficult to anticipate risks and act in time. For patients, this means waiting and delaying care; for managers, underutilized installed capacity.

Solution

Khronus Sala Zero is being developed as a B2B SaaS platform with AI to connect operating data from the operating room, anticipate risks of delays and cancellations, and support decisions about schedule, teams, and resources. The proposal is to provide operational visibility, alerts, and relocation recommendations, with monitoring of utilization, cancellations, and recovered capacity. The integration with existing systems and the decision supervised by professionals are components of the product design.

Business model

B2B SaaS, with recurring subscription per institution and price scaled by the size of the operation, number of rooms, modules, and integration. The ticket will be validated by interviews, willingness to pay, and pilots. In recent market materials, R$ 25 thousand/month per hospital was used as a planning hypothesis, not yet validated and without contracts to prove this amount. The initial business strategy is to demonstrate a return by recovering capacity and reducing operating losses.

Market

The global surgical center management software market is estimated by Grand View Research at around US$ 4,0 billions in 2026, with a projection of US$ 9,6 billions in 2033. This is a broad industry reference, not the product's validated TAM. The Khronus addressable market will be calculated by eligible hospitals and surgical centers, multiplied by the expected annual contract, starting with Brazil and moving on to other markets after validation. Competitors

International references include LeanTaas, with iQueue for Operating Rooms, and Qventus, with solutions for surgical growth and perioperative coordination. They are competitors who specialize in surgical capacity and operation. We also compete for the attention and budget allocated to existing hospital systems, internal tools, and manual coordination through spreadsheets, telephone and messages. Our position will be validated in market research and pilots.

Competitive differentiation

The proposal combines clinical and operational knowledge of the surgical center with data modeling and AI, oriented to the deployment and purchase conditions of Brazilian hospitals. We intend to connect risk forecasting to the coordination of the operation, with indicators that allow us to demonstrate recovered capacity and financial return. The adaptation to the local flow, the usability for the manager and the integrated implementation are differentiating hypotheses to be proven in the pilots.

Entry barrier

The desired barrier will be built by integrations incorporated into the hospital routine, knowledge of flows, quality of legitimately treated operational data, and evidence of results. With the implementation, we seek to accumulate learning of models and processes and to deepen business relationships. These assets are still under construction; we do not declare data exclusivity, patent, or technological advantage that has already been validated.

Traction

We are in the pre-recipe phase, with MVP under development and participation in the MOVE Track 2026, from Montreal Ventures. We carry out market research and end user structuring, value proposition, and requirements. We have a technical-commercial proposal from SENAI CIMATEC, without a signed contract yet. The immediate focus is on converting learning into an MVP and measurable pilot. These advances represent validation and preparation of the deal; there are still no paying customers or recurring revenue.
